Standard is a standard established by the German
retailers workgroup in 2002 for the broad purpose of
establishing a common approach and common standard, and
this Certification is one of the most important
requirements for entering the European markets.
5th version of the standard has been constituted by the
IFS workgroup, and this latest updated version has come
into effect on 01.08.2007.
